EMS Baseball Team Wins Championship
The Wyckoff baseball team took home the championship trophy after an undefeated season, and two wins against Woodcliff Lake and River Vale in the post-season. Congratulations to all the players and their coach, Mr. Ciarlo on this impressive accomplishment. The team will be recognized by the school board on June 3. Well done to all players on the softball team as well for playing hard this season under the guidance of their coach, Ms. Collins, and giving it their all. We’re proud of our WSD athletes.
NJSLA Testing Wraps this Week
The NJSLA testing in grades three through eight wraps up this week, with the last few makeup tests still being administered. We are proud of our students for working hard to demonstrate what they know and can do after a year of study and practice led by WSD’s dedicated faculty. Results will be issued by the state in the late summer/ early fall.
Recognition and Awards
On May 11, Eisenhower Middle School's Model United Nations Team attended the Junior Academy Model United Nations Conference (JAMUN) at the Bergen Academies and placed in many award categories. These 17 students are commended for their excellent achievement under the direction of their expert teachers, Ms. Harrichand, Ms. McMillan, and Ms. Moolji. The team will be recognized by the school board on June 3.
Our music departments at all schools have been hard at work on each their spring concerts and plays directed by our choral and band teachers - well done, WSD musicians.
Sincerely,
Kerry L. Postma, Ed.D.
