Dear Wyckoff Families,
It’s hard to believe two months of the school year are behind us. Our dedicated teachers and staff have been working hard to ensure that students are progressing and actively engaged in their learning. Thank you for your ongoing partnership. Below are a few key updates and opportunities to engage with our staff to support our students' continued growth.
Boys Soccer Championship TODAY
Congratulations to both EMS soccer teams on an outstanding season under the guidance of Coach Cascio and Coach Silvestri. Both teams made it to the semifinals, and the boys’ team will play Allendale in the championships today at EMS at 4 p.m. Go Generals!
Emergency Broadcast System Test Sunday
We will be testing our emergency broadcast system this Sunday at 7 p.m. Please contact your school office next week if you don’t receive a call, a text and an email Sunday night. Also, don’t forget the clocks turn back!
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent-teacher conferences will take place on November 11 and 18. Thank you in advance for taking the opportunity to engage with our teachers and discuss your child's progress. These conversations play an important role in fostering partnerships that support our students' growth.
Parent Survey Feedback
Thank you to all who participated in our Back-to-School Thought Exchange, and for sharing your thoughts and concerns as the new school year begins. Key themes from your feedback include a strong focus on academic excellence, child safety, balanced use of technology, and the importance of mental health support. This survey is part of our strategic plan to regularly gather parent feedback and ensure we are meeting the needs of our community. We appreciate your input which will help improve our students' educational experience.
Thank you for your support in creating a positive and welcoming learning environment in our school community. I wish you and your family a wonderful month of November.
Sincerely,
Kerry L. Postma, Ed.D.
