Spring Break

Dear Wyckoff Families,

This week is National School Social Work Week, a time to recognize and appreciate the vital role our school social workers play in supporting students' emotional well-being and academic success. Their work helps ensure that every child has the support they need to thrive.

🏀 Celebrating Our Basketball Team

Congratulations to the EMS girls' basketball team on an outstanding season and their recent championship win! Their hard work, teamwork, and dedication were evident throughout the season. A special thank you to Coach Ciarlo for his leadership and commitment to the team.

📚 Read Across America

We are currently celebrating Read Across America, an opportunity to inspire a love of reading in our students. Thank you to the teachers, staff, and guest readers making this event engaging and memorable for our students.

📅 Trimester Two Ends March 14

As we approach the end of the second academic trimester, we recognize the incredible work our students and staff have put in so far this year. Report cards will be available March 21 for Grades 1-8. For families of current kindergarten students, kindergarten conferences will take place this month. These meetings provide an opportunity to discuss student progress and goals for the remainder of the year.

✏️ NJSLA Testing

Looking ahead, NJSLA testing will take place in May. These assessments provide valuable insights into student progress and help guide instructional planning. Specific testing dates are available on the district website, and schools will share additional details as the testing period approaches.

💡 3Rs Day

The EMS PTO will host 3Rs Day (Reflect, Respect, Resiliency) for middle school students on Monday, March 10th, with speakers presenting age-appropriate sessions that promote respectful and inclusive learning environments.

Thank you for your continued support in making Wyckoff Schools a great place for learning and growth.

Sincerely,

sig
