The Wyckoff Education Foundation (WEF) generously presented the Board of Education with a check for $20,000 this week. The funds will be divided amongst the five schools and will cover new robotics tools and AR/VR equipment proposed by the WSD technology teachers. Elementary students will have access to new robotics tools that will include programmable robots, such as Bee-Bot, and Dash and Dot, and also LEGO robotics. Also, due to the generosity of the foundation. new augmented reality / virtual reality headsets in middle school classrooms will open doors for students to be immersed in authentic learning. We value the support of WEF and all of our parent partners as we continue our pursuit of excellence here in the Wyckoff schools.
This generous grant is also featured in the Wyckoff Patch - read the article here.
