Twelve EMS rainbow trout were released in the Saddle River after school yesterday. A successful Trout in the Classroom year. Thanks to Trout Unlimited, Pequest hatchery and NJ Fish & Wildlife.

Grade 6 EMS students applying math in science by using the arrival times of seismic waves to triangulate an earthquake epicenter near the San Andreas Fault.


KD had a blast exploring the James A. McFaul Environmental Center this week! Students had a hands-on experience exploring nature. Thank you to our guide and our chaperones for a special day!






One way 4H prepared for the NJSLA was by writing a narrative fiction story. They enjoyed doing this so much that they wanted to share them with each
other.







Grade 6 EMS students completed a “quakeproof” building challenge using K’NEX and our shake table after learning about earthquakes in Haiti, strong and flexible building materials and resilient building design.
