3D students are breaking apart division problems using manipulatives & bar models. They are working hard to show and explain their thinking!
2L mathematics worked with a partner to solve word problems. We talked, shared and helped each other. Then we took turns coming to the front to show and teach the class what strategies we used to solve. @MrsLutzer

For Makerspace, KD students listened to the read aloud Down By The Road by Alice Schertle! Their mission was to design and create a carrier that would safely hold 3 eggs without tipping over!
In K, we learned what a collage is and how artists use different materials to create a layered artwork. We picked one color and make a collage of different versions of that color and described why we chose that color and what it reminds us of!
2L students start off our week with Motivational Monday. We write a compliment to another student in the class and share it during our Morning Meeting. The best way to start our week together!

🎨✨ Mr. Castellano’s class is creating cityscapes using basic shapes and lots of creativity. They can't wait to experiment with crayons and watercolor paints together to see how wax repels water. Such an exciting blend of art and science! 🏙️🖌️
