Coolidge School students will be administered the spring i-Ready diagnostic assessment during the week of March 31st, with make-ups taking place the following week. This spring, Kindergarten students will be administered this assessment, along with our grade 1-5 students. This data is used to measure student growth throughout the year and to help inform small-group and personalized instruction and interventions. As with all assessments, students are encouraged to try their hardest and put forth their best effort. Information was sent home in January with instructions to access your child’s i-Ready report.

In particular, scroll down on this page to view practice tests, tutorials, and released items. Helping students prepare for assessments and encouraging them to reach their potential fosters a strong academic mindset that will be beneficial in years to come.

Dear Parents of Incoming EMS 6th Graders,
It's time to make some course selections for Eisenhower Middle School. The Genesis parent portal will be open for course requests today through April 11th. Families will have the ability to rank their preference for World Language and choose a Music option. Go to the Genesis Parent Portal and select the "Scheduling" then "Requests" tab. Follow the on-screen directions for a successful selection of courses. You will have the ability to rank all three languages in order of preference and select two music options. We will make every effort to give everyone their first preference in each category.

To support our first-grade study of community helpers, last week, students enjoyed a special visit from some of our Wyckoff community helpers. Students got a first-hand tour of a Wyckoff police car, ambulance, DPW dump truck, and backhoe. Earlier in the day, students took a field trip to the Wyckoff Public Library, where they visited with the children’s librarian and received their own library cards.
