January 17, 2025
Dear Lincoln School Community,
This past Tuesday, our 5th Grade Advanced Instrumental Band performed a terrific winter concert under the direction of Mr. Weidman and Mr. Vetrero. There were two performances, with students in grades K-3 enjoying the first show, and students in grades 4-5 as well as families and guests being treated to the second show. I am always impressed with the talent as well as evidence of hard work by our students in preparation for the concert.
Just a reminder that all lost and found will be donated to the Wyckoff Economy Shop on Monday, January 20th. If your child is missing a coat or sweatshirt, please come to Lincoln MPR before January 20th to see if anything belongs to you.
Please note that there will be a minimum day on Monday, January 20th in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day. All students will be dismissed at 1:05 pm. No school lunches will be provided on Monday. Kindergarten students may bring their own lunch and snack. As we commemorate the life of Dr. King, I reflect upon a quote of his that reads: “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.” Thank you for partnering with our staff as we work each day towards this goal, and for your continued support and collaboration.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Patrick Lee
Principal
