Spookley the Square Pumpkin brought festive fun to our Sicomac library today! Students enjoyed designing their own pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns, complete with mini flashlights to light up their creations!

5E created miniature relief sculptures loosely based on Dia De Los Muertos. Patterning and hand building clay skills were introduced.









Students in KM and 1M enjoyed our glow sing/dance along in music class today. We reviewed all the songs we've learned in October!







The best way to solve word problems is by creating your own! These mathematicians had a blast being word problem creators today!

2D read Pick a Pumpkin 🎃 and created a watercolor wash using the 3 primary colors. This week, students had full creative freedom in rendering Autumnal themes in oil pastel.




Preschool artists collected leaves outside. We observed illustrations in the book called Leaf Man. Artists composed a process-based collage using a variety of materials, including the leaves they collected.
